Imaging Services

In the heart of Tarpon Springs, Florida, there is a full-service imaging department featuring technologically advanced equipment and procedures. Imaging Services are provided on an outpatient basis, to patients of the Emergency Department, and to admitted patients of Florida Hospital North Pinellas (FHNP). All FHNP radiologists are board-certified in radiology and many have advanced training in specialty areas such as interventional radiology and neuro-diagnostic radiology. They, along with a highly skilled staff of nurses and technologists, are well equipped to perform and interpret sophisticated diagnostic procedures.

FHNP offers:

• PET/CT – Positron Emission Tomography/Computer Tomography
  • The highly sensitive PET scan images the biology of disorders at the molecular level, while the CT scan provides a detailed picture of the body's internal anatomy. PET/CT is available every Tuesday, with a doctor’s prescription and an appointment.
• Mammography: We now feature a Digital Mammography!
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
• Computer Tomography (CT)
• Nuclear Medicine (NM)
• X-Rays
• Ultrasound
• EEG/EKG

Our Outpatient Imaging Services are conveniently located onsite at FHNP (1395 South Pinellas Avenue, Tarpon Springs, FL). Reserved parking is available for outpatients in the hospital main entrance parking lot and on the south side of the hospital located next to the MRI/CT/NM building.
