What to Expect

On the day of your exam, you will arrive at the outpatient radiology department. We offer our patients convenient designated radiology outpatient parking areas. Outpatient Imaging Services has separate entrances based on your scheduled procedure.

Entrance For MRI, CT or Nuclear Medicine Procedures

Reserved parking is available on the south side of Florida Hospital North Pinellas, Country Club Ct. Look for the MRI/CT/Nuclear Medicine entrance sign south of the hospital ER driveway. Proceed along Country Club Ct. to the reserved parking marked on the left side of the drive. Enter the MRI/CT/Nuclear Medicine registration office (well marked with signage).

Entrance for X-ray, Mammography, Special Procedures & Records Pick-up

Enter and park in the main hospital entrance parking lot. Parking spaces are reserved for Outpatient Imaging patients in the first lane. Enter at the main hospital lobby and take elevator to the 2nd floor; go left off the elevator straight ahead to the Imaging Registration/Waiting Area.

Please remember to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to allow time to complete the registration process. Please bring any previous films relating to your exam so that our physicians can properly evaluate your results.

When arriving at the Radiology reception desk, you are greeted by the receptionist. You will sign in and will be called back to be registered. If a co-pay is required, it will be collected at this time.

Finally, you will sign registration forms and get an ID bracelet. A technologist will escort you to the appropriate procedure area for your exam and will explain the procedure and administer any medications if indicated.
